AREAS OF FOCUS

The following are some specific areas of specialization. However, I provide therapy services for many different challenges, not limited to the issues or demographics below.

Anxiety / Depression

Anxiety and depression function much like a psychological fever — signals that something deeper is asking for attention. They can arise from many different underlying dynamics. I help clients explore and understand their individual patterns so the work can address the roots rather than just the symptoms.

Relationships

I help clients explore patterns in their family of origin as well as their romantic, peer, work, and current family relationships. This work often involves understanding attachment dynamics, communication styles, and the roles we’ve learned to play, so clients can build relationships that feel more grounded, reciprocal, and authentic.

Spirituality / Religious Trauma

I take a holistic approach to therapy that includes a client’s experience of faith or spirituality when they choose to bring it into the work. I also support people who have been harmed by high‑control or high‑shame religious or political communities, helping them process the impact of these environments and reclaim a sense of inner freedom.

Men’s Issues

Men account for more than 75% of suicides in Canada, and many are struggling with isolation, a loss of meaning, addiction, or sex‑ and porn‑related concerns. I help men explore the emotional patterns—often shaped by shame, anger, or early relational experiences—that make it difficult to ask for support, connect with others, or feel grounded in their lives.

Individuation / Life Passages

I help clients explore and integrate aspects of themselves that were set aside in order to fit family expectations, cultural norms, or an idealized self‑image. Through individuation, clients become more aligned with a deeper and more authentic sense of self.

Artists & Creative Professionals

I provide support for actors, writers, filmmakers, musicians, and other creatives navigating artistic identity, expression, emotional depth, and the psychological demands of artistic work and creative industries.
