DEPTH THERAPY FOR LASTING CHANGE
Depth‑oriented psychodynamic psychotherapy and consultation, offered in person and online. Work that goes beyond symptom relief.
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
Welcome.
I’m Kenton Klassen, a Registered Clinical Counsellor and psychodynamic psychotherapist based in Vancouver, BC. I work with clients in a relational, exploratory, and non‑directive way.
People seek therapy for many reasons — persistent anxiety, depression, difficulties in relationships, the impact of trauma, or a sense of uncertainty about where they are headed. My practice offers a place to slow down and look closely at the emotional and unconscious patterns shaping your inner life.
My work is grounded in the understanding that we develop in relationship, are wounded in relationship, and heal in relationship. Psychodynamic psychotherapy provides a way of working beneath the surface, attending to the deeper layers that influence how we feel and relate.
Depth‑oriented therapy can be hard to find in a culture focused on quick solutions and standardized treatments. I offer a space where your story is taken seriously and where the work unfolds at a pace that supports lasting psychological change.
If you would like to explore whether this approach feels right for you, I offer a free 20‑minute consultation for clients seeking psychotherapy in Vancouver or online throughout BC.
